Jennifer Mack-Watkins lives and works in New Jersey. Her work in printmaking explores themes of racial identity and history, injustice, and societal conformity related to gender roles. The artist has been included in numerous group shows, including “Whitney Houston Biennial” (2017), “Nasty Women” The Knockdown Center, Maspeth, Queens (2017), “New Vision”, The Artist Alliance of Morris Brown College (2014), and “It’s a Matter of Mind” Michael Mut Gallery, New York (2013).
The artist is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships including: The “Elizabeth Catlett Printmaking Award, Hampton University, Hampton, VA, and the “Artist of the 21st Century” Award from University of Tennessee.
